I was born in Arkansas in 1982 and then grew up in upstate New York with my brother, Aaron, and Mother, Susan. When I was eight years old we moved to the suburbs of Philadelphia, Newtown, PA. I attended the Council Rock school district and graduated high school in 2000. After attending community college for a year, I decided to move down to the city and go to Temple University. I received a wonderful education at Temple University studying under inspiring professors and being introduced to new passions. I graduated in 2006 with a BA in Applied Communication for Professional Educators, under Prof. Joe Folger, with a minor in Geography and Urban Studies. My life turned around during my Temple career and some of my new passions were:

With the dream of one day opening an Integrative Wellness Center, I decided to get my Masters in Holistic Health Education at John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant Hill, California. My boyfriend at the time, Charles Wise, my best friend - Lindsey Lustig (who also attended the program), and I moved out to East Bay, California in September of 2006, and immediately felt at home. There I met many wonderful people, worked at great places, and had incredible experiences. In March of 2009, I married Charles, the man of my dreams, and in June of 2009, Lindsey and I graduated. I have also become Zumba, Yoga, Pilates, and AFAA Group Exercise Certified and taught various fitness classes and Holistic Health Workshops across the East Bay area from Pleasanton to Walnut Creek and over to Berkeley and Oakland.
Recently, we have moved back to the east coast to beautiful Cape May, NJ. We miss our California friends and family, but are excited to be back with family and friends here. We have recently opened the Wise Wellness Center in Rio Grande, NJ. We are thrilled to have this opportunity to follow our dreams of being educators and motivators!
